Radio planning tool which will assess the feasibility of a point-to-point radio link prior to any site surveys being carried out. This therefore reduces costs on unnecessary trips. Propagation models included are Ibrahim, Yokomura/Hata, Hata (150-1500MHz), COST-231, Egli and Friss. Ideal for Cell phone link design.
Uses a terrain height database for England, Wales and Scotland.

Link Details
Link details are entered using the dialog box shown above. The the co-ordinates can also be entered using NGR, DMS or UTM formats. The transmitter and receiver details are entered. The data for most antennae and feeders are programmed
in. Additional feeders have been included which include the full range of TIMES Microwave Systems LMR, TCOM and FBT coaxial cables. The software can analise up to 60 links (simplex and duplex) at one time and will calculate the intermodulation products.
Terrain Profile
The terrain profile for each link can be displayed as shown.
